The assessment of vulnerabilities of climate change is continuing in the townships of Laputta and Pakokku.

The MCCA expert team is preparing a ‘Matrix of Functions‘ which unveils where strengths and potential weaknesses are located spatially.

The functions include the Eco-System services. The questions we are asking to this analysis are:

  • If temperatures are going to rise, how will service quality and availability change?
  • How will communities make their living?
  • How can we adapt to reduce risks of increased droughts, salinization, water shortages or increased tropical storms?

We will try and get these answers along with the communities from 23 June 2016. Follow the progress, as we will publish the findings as we go.
